Nice. Could be nicer. Front door needs attention/replacement. Windows are very moist in the middle of the double glazing and running with water. Beds could do with being king size. Nice property, just needs a bit of love.

A spacious, clean and very well equipped holiday house. A good base in the north west of Devon from which to explore this county and beyond.Dog friendly with a secure rear garden accessed via a steep set of steps. (One previous review mentioned that a gate was easy for a small dog to escape through. This has been addressed)The owners were nearby and were friendly and knowledgeable.Would certainly boom again, just a shame about the weather but you cannot have everything.

Barnhayes was very comfortable and spacious and larger than expected. Had everything we needed for our week’s stay. House was very clean and beds and sofas comfortable. Liked the idea of the 2 reception areas and we used one for daytime and the other for evening :)The owner lives close by and was very knowledgeable and helpful about places to visit.Happily recommend staying here and would stay again.
