Enter via the hallway, with its beautiful piano and large oak table where you can enjoy hearty family meals. When you move into the lounge, you will be charmed by exposed beams, an authentic stone fireplace and wood burner. Through an archway, the well-equipped kitchen with range cooker makes preparing meals a pleasure. Upstairs and to the right is a double bedroom with a king-size bed which tempts you to linger for a lie-in in the mornings, there is a further twin bedroom. The charm of the welcoming interior is second only to that of the picture-postcard exterior – a view which you can enjoy from the privacy of the fenced garden as you cook up a BBQ.

Less than 1 mile away is the Great Torrington Golf Club, where guests can play 18 holes on this fantastic member-maintained golf course. Walks along the beautiful River Torridge are recommended and if you feel like venturing further afield, the main town of Barnstaple, filled with shops, restaurants and museums, is a must-visit. The sandy beaches and big waves of Westward Ho! are also an ideal spot to catch the sun as it sets over the Celtic Sea.
