The delightful port town of Bideford has a good selection of town amenities, restaurants, a weekly market and boat trips to Lundy Island. Garden lovers will enjoy nearby RHS Rosemoor and Docton Mill. This is a superb holiday choice whatever the time of year.
The beach at Westward Ho! is just 7 miles, renowned for its beauty, and has 2 miles of sandy beach known as the Golden Bay, which is popular with surfers. Coastal and country walking, golf, surfing, horse riding and cycling on the Tarka Trail are all on offer close by and, for family fun, The Big Sheep and The Milky Way adventure parks are not to be missed. Fishing within 5 miles. Shop 3 miles, pub and restaurant 150 yards.

Beautiful cottage and very well equipped. Welcome hamper and card were a lovely touch. Very clean and lots of space. Local pub food great with friendly staff. We missed a local shop to walk to and did find the roads narrow. However a great place for a relaxing quiet escape.

Could not fault the accommodation really comfortable. The cooker re oven needs updating.The bathroom upstairs needs storage to keep shampoo toothbrush creams etc.All other facilities are very good. Loved the holiday.

Beautiful cottage. Welcoming owners. Second time we have stayed in it. Has everything you could need. Would definitely recommend it and will definitely be back!
