The delightful port town of Bideford has a good selection of town amenities, restaurants, a weekly market and boat trips to Lundy Island. Garden lovers will enjoy nearby RHS Rosemoor and Docton Mill. This is a superb holiday choice whatever the time of year.
The beach at Westward Ho! is just 7 miles, renowned for its beauty, and has 2 miles of sandy beach known as the Golden Bay, which is popular with surfers. Coastal and country walking, golf, surfing, horse riding and cycling on the Tarka Trail are all on offer close by and, for family fun, The Big Sheep and The Milky Way adventure parks are not to be missed. Fishing within 5 miles. Shop 3 miles, pub and restaurant 150 yards.

This property has lots of room and space. A secluded garden and a separate sitting area also complement the property. The village location is nice and quiet, with an added bonus of a lovely local pub, which is within 5 minutes walk.

The house was beautiful and in a lovely location. There was a great pub within walking distance. The house was well-equipped with most things, clean and tidy. There were many books, games and DVDs for entertainment. The log burner was needed as the weather was quite chilly. I would definitely recommend this cottage.

Beautiful cottage and very well equipped. Welcome hamper and card were a lovely touch. Very clean and lots of space. Local pub food great with friendly staff. We missed a local shop to walk to and did find the roads narrow. However a great place for a relaxing quiet escape.
