The floor to ceiling windows and large private balcony running across the living area will ensure you make the most of this exclusive location.
This is a reverse-level duplex with the bedrooms and the bathrooms on the main floor and open plan living/dining/kitchen space on the first floor, accessed by a staircase of 23 steps. This property has allocated parking with a lift to the apartment.
Westward Ho!, a few minutes flat walk from the apartment, offers an array of seaside amenities, quaint streets, colourful architecture and fascinating curiosity shops. The beach in front of the apartment is known as the Golden Bay, whilst the South West Coastal Path also runs through Westward Ho! – a must for keen cyclists and walkers - plus swimming, surfing, canoeing and fishing are all close by. The Tarka Trail is also in close proximity, providing the unique opportunity to follow a disused railway line amidst some of Devon’s finest countryside and scenery.
For a day with a difference take a trip across to Lundy Island, home to England’s first statutory Marine Nature Reserve due to its unique flora and fauna. Measuring just 3 miles by ¾ mile, this entire island has been designated a Site of Special Scientific Interest.

If I start by saying this is the 2nd time this year we have been to Sand Dunes and not the first time we've done multiple visits in a year, It should tell you everything about this place.Beautiful location, even bad weather days afford great views.The apartment is beautifully appointed with everything you need, and always a few nice welcome touches from the owners!

Fantastic apartment. We have stayed in Westward Ho! many times and this was one of our favourite places to stay. View was amazing especially on stormy days. The rooms were big. Allowing dogs was also a big plus for us and we loved the convenience of underground parking.

We’ve stayed at Nassau Court and Horizon view many times. This was our least favourite. The view is completely obstructed by a huge roof, when we stayed before in a different apartment we could see the waves crash into the rocks. The sofas are incredibly uncomfortable, worn and in desperate need of replacing. The mattress in the double room was very, very soft. I have back problems and so I never slept the whole time we were there, nor did my partner without back issues, so if you need support you’ll have to sleep in the single bed. The apartment was very clean, bright, big and beautiful. It had everything in the kitchen you could possibly need inc washing machine and tumble drier. There was also a fan in the downstairs store cupboard. The bath was luxurious and I didn’t want to get out, just remember the windows aren’t frosted in the bathrooms, so everyone walking by the main path can see you through the blinds. There’s no blankets so take your own as we were cold in the evenings. I wish I’d taken my dressing gown and slippers. The worst part of this apartment was the 20+ stairs to go upstairs to the living room, if you having breathing issues this will be a major issue. We were left a very generous gift bag with wine, jam, biscuits, crisps, chocolate and a postcard. If you love soft mattresses, don’t mind not seeing the waves crash, don’t mind the stairs and are ok with a very old sofa, than I recommend it.
