This attractive converted barn is situated next to the owners' beautiful farmhouse and Bed & Breakfast, within the pretty rural hamlet of Huntshaw, near Great Torrington in North Devon. Surrounded by picturesque countryside where sheep and cattle graze the lush meadows, this Torrington cottage provides a welcoming holiday retreat. Guaranteed to provide a tranquil and quiet ambience, this Devon cottage has plenty of character, including beamed ceilings. Inside your cottage near Great Torrington is an open plan living area with an electric fire, along with two comfortable bedrooms and a bathroom. Guests at this Torrington cottage will enjoy relaxing on their private patio bathed in sunshine, from which far-reaching views across the Devon countryside can be seen, where buzzards and hawks rise up on the thermals to provide a spectacular sight. Walkers can find plenty of footpaths in the immediate vicinity of this Torrington holiday home and the well-known Tarka Trail is close by, a 180 mile route through the stunning scenery of North Devon with some magnificent viewpoints along the way. The town of Great Torrington is situated above River Torridge within driving distance to the North Devon coast. The town offers a selection of individual shops and pubs, plus a mile away is the wonderful RHS garden at Rosemoor. There are also many delightful villages and beaches in the area.
