Bude (8 miles) is ideal for surfing, shopping and perusing local eateries. For parkland walks try Dunsland (14 miles) and for remote moorland head to Bodmin Moor (28 miles). Lydford Gorge (26 miles), the deepest river gorge in the South West, has a 30m high waterfall and is a great place for walkies.
