The two-storey manor house dates back to the 1820s and has lost none of its original charm. Each room boasts a soothing colour palette, with original features blending seamlessly with stylish soft furnishings across hard and carpeted flooring. A pretty porch with original flagstones leads into the spacious hallway, off which you’ll find an impressive lounge with high ceilings where comfortable sofas have been arranged around the wood burner, with French doors at one end leading out into the garden. A large dining room stands opposite the lounge, with a wood burner and a set of French doors that flood it with light. The kitchen has contemporary country looks and a breakfast bar, with plenty of room for foodies to work their magic. A handy utility room stands to the side. A spacious king-size bedroom with a feature fireplace is tucked away at the rear of the house, with a shower room close by. The original staircase leads up to the first floor and the final three bedrooms, all of which feature light and fresh decor and enjoy stunning country views. There are two twin bedrooms; a spacious king-size bedroom with a magnificent bay window and window seat; and a king-size bedroom with dual aspect windows and a feature fireplace. A plush family bathroom rounds the interior off in style. The enclosed garden features a patio with furniture overlooking a lawned area with plenty of room for children and dogs to zoom about.

Tamar Lake (5 miles) is beloved by walkers and water sports lovers. The cottage is only 6 miles from the South West Coast Path, along which you’ll find Bude and Clovelly (within 10.5 miles) two of the South West’s most popular coastal destinations.
