Perfect for a relaxing couple’s retreat, it has shared use of a large indoor swimming pool and access to a pretty wildlife pond, while making the perfect base for exploring the many hotspots of Devon’s Ruby Country.
This beautiful barn has been sympathetically converted to provide spacious and comfortable accommodation in peaceful surroundings. Inside, the welcoming open-plan living and dining area is the heart of the home, with pretty, dual-aspect views. A well-equipped kitchen provides all you will need for leisurely meals in this delightful home from home. Stairs lead up to a first-floor bedroom with a king-size bed, lovely country views and an en-suite bathroom. In the morning, take some hot coffee out onto the private patio area and breathe in the fresh country air. The cottage also has a shared decked patio and lawned area adjoining the large indoor swimming pool which is for the exclusive use of the owners and guests.
Whether you want to explore the coast or country, this barn is the perfect setting from which to see it all. It’s less than 1 mile along country lanes from the pretty village of Sheepwash with its village shop and well-regarded pub. Further afield, explore the ancient market town of Holsworthy (10 miles) with its range of shops, Okehampton (12 miles) on the edge of Dartmoor National Park, or the stunning gardens of RHS Rosemoor (11 miles). The spectacular coastline including the beaches of Bude is a scenic 20-mile drive away. or visit the famous Clovelly under 20 miles away.
Please Note: You can book all 3 properties which are all on the same site, especially between 1st May and September (which you have use of the indoor heated pool), great for family get togethers. Harmony, Serenity and The Lodge.
