The reason we selected average for comfort is that the bathroom is quite narrow. Otherwise we would have selected Good.

We loved our stay. Mel and her family were very welcoming and full of advice on where to go. The beautiful moors are in the door step so you don’t need to use your car if you don’t want too. The barn was beautiful, clean and cosy. The local pub is a definite for dinner. We had Sunday lunch and dinner a few times. The local shops are in the next village only 2 miles away. Great stay. Highly recommended

We had a lovely week at Southlake Barn. The accommodation has been thoughtfully designed and was spotlessly clean. The kitchen is very well equipped and the welcome gifts left by Mel- homemade jam and elderflower cordial were much appreciated! Mel was the perfect host, ready with helpful suggestions for places to visit. The barn is a ten minute drive away from many excellent walks across the moors and there are beautiful gardens to visit nearby.
