Both places are wonderful for walking, with amazing views, and full of history. The area is ideal for walking, fishing and other countryside activities. Within walking distance is a local pub, and just 3 miles along the main road towards Launceston is a large purpose built farm shop, café and restaurant with plenty of parking. Locally sourced produce, meats and groceries are on sale, good coffee and a varied menu is on offer. There is a well stocked village shop and post office within 1 mile at Stoke Climsland and other pubs and restaurants in the local area. Conveniently located midway between the north and south coasts, The Platt is a perfect place from which to explore the stunning coastline, sandy beaches with seas for swimming and surfing, and attractive seaside towns.
