Guests say

Guests consistently praise the cottage for its cosiness, cleanliness, and well-equipped nature, making it a comfortable retreat. The location is appreciated for its proximity to local attractions and natural beauty, with several guests returning for multiple stays. The thoughtful touches by the hosts, including welcome presents, are warmly received, although such gestures are not guaranteed.

Reviewers frequently mention the cleanliness of the cottage, with multiple guests highlighting how well-kept it is, suggesting a high standard of cleanliness.

The location is highly recommended for its beauty and convenience, with guests enjoying local walks and the proximity to attractions, contributing to a positive experience.

Comfort is a strong point, with guests finding the beds super comfortable and the cottage cosy. One mention of an uncomfortable bed prevents a perfect score.

Facilities are generally praised for being well-equipped and thoughtfully designed. However, a few minor maintenance issues like a dripping tap and lack of grass for pets in the yard are noted.

While guests appreciate welcome presents and the overall hospitality, there is not enough information to score thoughtfulness as a consistent attribute across reviews. It's important to note that such gifts are kindly provided but not guaranteed.

An ideal base for exploring Devon. Great dog walks from the door. Would definitely stay here again.

Beds are super comfortable, would like to purchase those mattresses! Well equipped, fresh air fan a godsend for respiratory issues. Housekeeper is a credit to the cottage, attention to detail shows. Only issues to mention, such a shame back yard area doesn’t get sun and not private. Kitchen tap needs checking as it has a constant drip. Nevertheless, we would love to stay again.
