Wonderful house which was nicely secluded. Perfect holiday home for a group of friends and a dog to relax in despite the inclement weather. Local pubs were excellent.

Great stay at Ingo Brake Retreat. The place was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had everything I needed for a comfortable visit. The host was responsive, making check-in and communication effortless. I especially appreciated the thoughtful touches like the handwritten guide. The location was perfect—quiet, safe, and close to everything we intended to visit. The tennis facilities a bonus! I’d absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

The post code takes you straight to Ingo Brake. On entering the property there was a lovely welcome pack, thank you. Inside there was everything thing that you could need for a comfortable holiday. The kitchen had lots of fridge and freezer space and loads of utensils. The property was as clean and very spacious. All bedrooms with en suite and four separate toilets as well. There were 11 of us, 7 adults and 4 children ranging from 3 to 85 and everyone was really happy with Ingo Brake. Everybody loved the tennis court even our dog who chased the ball every time it was hit. Great woodland and stream for the children and adults. Very close to Lydford Gorge, Drogo Castle, Buckland Abbey. Tavistock is a nice town. We all loved Ingo Brake and all the adjacent woodland. Even found damsons, raspberries, apples and blackberries. Thank you for a lovely place to stay
