Nearby, Lydford Gorge (NT) and Dartmoor afford fine walking, whilst Roadford Lake, 3 miles, provides water sports and fishing. The beautiful north coast beaches of Devon and Cornwall lie within easy reach and the Eden Project is an hour’s drive. Village shop and good pubs under 2 miles.

The cottage is very well equipped and extremely comfortable in a very quiet location. The owner is very friendly and available if needed. The garden is secure and the adjacent field is a lovely touch. The bed is extremely comfortable and provides a good nights sleep. If you want a get away from it all holiday this is the place for you.

We all enjoyed our stay at stowford linhay. The accommodation had everything you needed . Paul (the owner) came over shortly after arrival to check we had everything we needed . Area was beautiful. Weather was kind . The dog exercise field was great to use and our black labrador loved it.
