A very good barn conversion, a very comfortable and well equipped cottage. The ceilings in the upstairs rooms were in the eaves, and the sloping ceiling was sometimes difficult, but being aware of this we were able to cope with it.

Beautiful barn conversion, all home comforts, great for getting anywhere in Devon and Cornwall.right on the edge of Dartmoor National park. Lovely hosts. Would definitely recommend if you like peace and quiet.

We both had a fantastic, relaxing and peaceful week staying at Crofter's Barn. It's in an 'off the beaten track', picturesque location on Dartmoor with roaming sheep and ponies not far from the back gate! The detached cottage is comfortable, well equipped and quiet and the owners (living next door) are welcoming, lovely and helpful. Their extensive grounds are beautiful and there are many places of interest (including several National Trust), great walking and cycling nearby. The local 'church on the hill' is a lovely walk with fabulous 360 degree views at the top. We can also recommend The Mary Tavy Inn which is only a four minute drive away, across the moors! A memorable and enjoyable week in Devon-thank you!
