Take a short, three mile drive to Dartmoor National Park to see the rugged landscapes, traditional villages, remote tors and flowing rivers. The historic town of Tavistock is two miles away from the farm and visitors can spend a day exploring the pannier market, shops, cafés, cinema and restaurants. Tavistock's Pannier Market has been crowned Britain’s Best Large Indoor Market as part of the Great British Market Awards 2025. Further afield, the Eden Project is an hour’s drive away and is a great day out. There are also several National Trust properties nearby including Cotehele House, Buckland Abbey and Lydford Gorge, all within just five miles. When entering the exposed stone-wall barn, there is an open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with a feature granite fireplace and wood-burner (first basket of logs provided) to keep guests warm. The exposed stone-walls keep the barn cool in warmer weather. The lounge area is furnished with a large sofa and is equipped with a Smart TV for entertainment. Passing the dining area, the modern kitchen is fitted out with a hob, oven, coffee machine, microwave, dishwasher, washer/dryer and fridge/freezer. There is one king-size bedroom with an en-suite shower room and WC.

Outside the property, a spacious garden is provided for guests to use, enjoying great views out over the surrounding countryside. There is also a patio, garden furniture seating and a BBQ; ideal for lazy summer evenings out in the open.
