This is an all year round holiday home where you can’t fail to relax and enjoy yourself whatever the occasion.

Blandford Forum is a market town in Dorset, England, situated by the River Stour. Notable for its Georgian architecture, most of the town was rebuilt in the 18th century after it was destroyed by a fire in 1731. King George II made a donation to rebuild the town centre with designs from local architects John and William Bastard. The Blandford Georgian Fayre is an annual event held in the first week of May and celebrates its Georgian heritage, with presentations, historical re-enactments and music and dancing. One of the town’s biggest events takes place on the late Bank Holiday weekend, the Great Dorset Steam Fair. A largely colourful festival with over 2,000 exhibits and an old time steam funfair. Offering a wide selection of independent store, supermarkets, pubs, restaurants, cafés and a Georgian tearoom. So much to visit within this quaint town and makes for a wonderful tourist attraction, whatever the season.

Had everything you needed, was warm and had lovely decorative touches. Thought the hamper, wine and milk was a lovely welcome too, as were the hosts. Would recommend and stay again.

I did want to take the time to leave feedback for Dave and Tracy though because our stay at Little Haven was perfect in every regard. Two of us and two dogs, just returned from five nights over New Year and we had the best time. The quality of the build, the decorations, the facilities and even the artwork was outstanding (so much so that Ali has already ordered the Rabbit print on the bedroom wall :-)). It is always the little details that make so much difference: Excellent kitchen equipment including sharp knives (I usually take one with me because they rarely are.) An air-fryer, four slot toaster etc. I know these may seem trivial to some but they mean so much to us. The towels and linen were immaculate and fabulous quality. The hallway must have been designed for dogs! Poo bags and treats provided. Ample kitchen and loo roll was a welcome surprise as was the lovely welcome hamper. When we go away with the dogs we are out and about mostly. The weather wasn't kind for a couple of days but what a fantastic place to cost up with a bottle of wine and a huge OLED TV. We have stayed in Dorset and further west many times, Little Haven is without a doubt the best place we have stayed in and we will definitely be coming back. Recommend a visit to Swanage and the Crown Pub in Blandford Forum does great food. Thanks loads to Dave and Tracy.

Very high spec and fabulously clean. Great for getting around and lovely walks. Very dog friendly and the Bowl, treats, blankets and towel where a lovely touch as well as the welcome basket. This is an exceptional little home from home and Dave and Tracy great hosts. Would recommend to everyone.
