Wyndthorpe Cottage is situated on the edge of the picture postcard, historical village of Milton Abbas and is perfectly placed to explore the numerous other quintessentially English villages in the local area. The Hambros Arms, which serves a range of local ales and fine wines, is just a short stroll from the property and also serves some exceptional food.
The single-storey accommodation is warmed with underfloor heating and includes a bright and modern open-plan sitting/dining and kitchen area, along with two bedrooms which can be flexibly presented as a choice of 6’ super-king or 3’ twin beds, making this charming cottage ideal for families, couples or friends. The pretty, mature front garden enjoys wonderful rural views of Dorset.
Nearby, Bulbarrow Hill is the perfect spot for a picnic as well as being popular with walkers as it boasts the longest view in Dorset, taking in five counties. The world-famous Jurassic Coast is a must see including Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door.
The market towns of Sherborne, Blandford and Dorchester are within a short drive and Bovington Tank Museum and Monkey World are just some of the other attractions within easy reach.

A cottage that genuinely lives up to the promise of the photographs. Great location and a front garden to die for. Fully equipped with everything you could want for either a short or long stay. Clean and very comfortable. Excellent location: National Trust house and gardens at Kingston Lacy and the fascinating house and gardens at Athelhampton are within easy reach. Sherborne Castle just a little bit further along. And not too far from the Dorset coast. Victoria and James are exemplary hosts. We'd love to stay there again.
