A great base to tour the area with outstanding and beautiful countryside. A very nice welcome from the owner when we arrived. The community run village shop has many provisions available including a Post Office counter, a rarity these days. Plenty to do and see with some excellent pubs and restaurants across the counties that border the cottage location with the lovely town of Shafesbury 2 miles away with it's many independent shops, well worth a visit. Needless to say we will be returning in 2024. A very happy traveller.

We loved the exposed wood work which gave it character.

Plenty of places nearby to visit with the dog and Caroline and Rupert were very welcoming and friendly. I will be recommending the Cider Press as an excellent place to stay and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.
