Set in the field of a former dairy farm, Caalm Cottage is an idyllic retreat for that family break. There’s plenty of space for those lazy days with the kids, and the open plan living and dining space make it easy to spend time together. The doors in the living area lead outside to the patio and lawned garden, so sunny days are all about enjoying the fresh air with the kids.
Upstairs, you’ll find the master bedroom for mum and dad, and the twin room for the kids, and each one has everything you need to unwind after a busy day enjoying Dorset. If it’s been too long since you gathered the kids made some memories, this home from home makes just the setting.
You’ll find Caalm Cottage in the traditional market town of Shaftesbury, famous for Gold Hill, the picturesque setting for the Hovis adverts. If you’re keen to take in some of Dorset’s famous scenery on foot, you’ll be able to wander Blackmore Vale and Cranborne Chase. You’ll also be able to visit Shaftesbury Abbey Museum and Gardens, one of the region’s best-loved days out.
