East View Cottage is nestled in a quiet hillside overlooking fields. It is a tranquil location, ideal for a relaxing holiday.We travelled by train to Wareham and took the excellent Purbeck Breezer( number 40), which dropped us off at the top of the lane to Acton.The cottage is well equioed and we aporeciated the little extras ie. milk, wine, delicious Moores ginger biscuits, tea and coffee. Thank you.The cottage is comfortable and in an ideal spot for walking and visiting the beautiful Purbeck countryside. Corfe Castle is a real bonus and the footpath to Harman's Cross to pick up the steam train to Swanage sends you back in time.I am looking forward to visiting again and reacquainting myself with a history book I need to complete and the excellent choice of DVDs provided.

Excellent cottage, lovely soft bed and pillow we enjoyed the best sleep. Very peaceful and great place to unwind. Good location to Swanage, Studland and The Blue Pool a gem of a place. We would thoroughly recommend. Wi-Fi would have been a bonus, but we coped without it. Very dog friendly which makes a nice change to have no list of rules.
