Loved ‘The Sloop’. Swanage weather was glorious (like mid-June, yet the third weekend in March), so I actually spent my afternoons out on the patio reading (oh, and drinking beer & wine). I actually couldn’t get any real hot water out of either shower, nor turn the rads up (in the evenings when it turned chilly), nor really knew what I was doing where the cooker was concerned; appreciate I was simply a bloke enjoying 3 days/nights to himself - which I did, I adored it there - but some ‘easy to understand diagrams’ (Idiot Proof) wouldn’t have gone amiss!
