Really enjoyed our stay here, was very spacious for 12 of us, with young babies and dogs too! Enough parking for us all and good local amenities. The house was clean, and had dishwasher pans etc for cooking whilst we were there. Simon was really helpful and gave us lots of recommendations too. Thank you ⭐️

This family home next to the pottery, is a countryside treasure. A spacious house perfect for large family (or friends) 'get togethers', with lots of reception rooms to allow different groups to mix, or to get some 'time out'. The place was well equipped and by all accounts all beds were comfy. The place is very old with loads of history, so please don't expect a pristine newbuild finish, but everything was clean and we had plenty of hot water and heating (which was good as it was very cold when we got there). Its situated in a very small village which has a Spar for the basic and essentials, and a pub (hence the average local facilities rating - there is not much to rate - but you would expect that in a small village - Crewkerne is an 8min drive away and has supermarkets etc etc. so there is no problem overall). The countryside is beautiful so dog walks where easy and idyllic, with footpaths into the countryside a couple of hundred meters away up and down the road from the house. Simon, our host, (although out of the country at the time) was extremely helpful and generous. This place was perfect for our four day stay away, with various family and friends (and a couple of four legged friends) joining us to enjoy a wonderful post Christmas 'get together'! Thanks Simon.
