Guests say

Fiddlesticks Cottage in Beaminster is highly praised for its comfort, well-supplied kitchen, and thoughtful personal touches. Guests appreciate the cosy, home-like feel and the property's suitability as a base for exploring Dorset. Some concerns about parking and shower pressure are noted, but these do not detract significantly from the overall positive experiences.

The cottage generally receives positive remarks for cleanliness, with only a single mention of dog hair and marks on the sofa, suggesting these were isolated incidents. The property is often described as well-kept and in good condition.

The location is central to Beaminster, ideal for country and coastal walks, and convenient for visiting local attractions. It is described as quiet and peaceful, with only minor concerns about parking which do not significantly impact the guests' experiences.

Guests find the cottage very comfortable, with cosy furnishings and a homely atmosphere. The presence of an electric stove adds to the comfort during colder periods. However, some guests noted issues with garden levels and a lack of handrails, which could affect those with mobility issues.

Facilities are generally well-received, with a well-equipped kitchen and additional amenities like Wi-Fi and Netflix. Maintenance issues are promptly addressed, but recurring comments about shower pressure and the need for better bathroom facilities suggest room for improvement.

While guests mention thoughtful personal touches and a welcoming atmosphere, including a Christmas tree and a bottle of Prosecco, there is not enough information to guarantee such gifts for future guests. Therefore, the score is set to null, but the appreciation for these gestures is evident.

We appreciate the consistency of cleanliness, and comfort. We also love the upgrade in the conservatory building, lovely painting! We will definitely be back.

The cottage was stunning—beautifully located, cosy, and comfortable. The festive touches, including a lovely Christmas tree, really made it special. On arrival, we were greeted with a bottle of Prosecco and a thoughtful Christmas card from the owners, which added such a personal touch. It's the little details that made this stay memorable. Highly recommend this place—5 stars all the way!"
