The idyllic village location offers tranquility and proximity to local attractions. While some maintenance issues are noted, the overall experience is positive, with many guests expressing a desire to return.
The property generally receives high marks for cleanliness, with guests finding it well-maintained. However, there are isolated comments about the need for deeper cleaning in some areas, such as the kitchen and light fittings. The presence of dog hairs on throws was mentioned, suggesting room for improvement.

Comfort is a strong point for this property, with guests highlighting the cosy atmosphere, comfortable beds, and the open fire. However, some guests noted issues with inadequate bedding during colder months and low lounge furniture, slightly impacting the overall comfort score.
The cottage is well-equipped, especially the kitchen, and guests appreciate the spaciousness. Points were deducted for maintenance issues such as difficult-to-open windows, overgrown gardens, and the need for more powerful showers. The lack of a mop and a broken dishwasher were also noted.

Pippins Loders is an ideal base for your holiday with its countryside location, yet still close enough to the coast and towns.
Bridport is an attractive market town that grew up around the River Brit, and was shaped by its history of rope and net making. The long, wide streets and alleyways between the houses were once where the flax strands were twisted into rope, while today those streets are filled with an interesting variety of shops, restaurants and inns. Bridport’s market is regularly featured on the River Cottage TV programme. 2 miles south of Bridport is the dramatic Jurassic coast at West Bay, now a World Heritage Site, home to the backdrop for TV's Harbour Lights and the coastal setting for popular Broadchurch, whilst the picturesque resort of Lyme Regis is within 10 miles. A superb base for exploring wonderful West Dorset.

Very well equipped and the location was excellent for our needs. Quiet and scenic. I honestly can't think of anything negative to say. I can recommend this place. The parking worked out fine. We had two cars, one was parked at the back in the allocated space and the other one on the road just before the private entrance, no problem with any farmers or neighbours. When we arrived a very nice lady said where we could park. As for the property it was warm and cosy and the kitchen was excellent. Really appreciated the towels and cot for the toddler as well as the gate. Thank you and well done!

The sink in the en-suite didnât drain very well and the shower had very little power. On the plus side the beds were super comfy and the house is very well equipped. A bbq would be a good addition.

I know that this is a dog friendly cottage however (I dont believe any holiday let should offer upto 3 dogs, this leads to major wear & tear) 1 dog in any holiday space is more than enough. The cottage, especially the lounge needs an update, new sofas, rugs & the fireplace needs cleaning & chimney needs some work. Downstairs loo needs a refresh. The garden is a lot smaller than the photos on the website. We had a knock on the door from the Farmer who was very rude about where we had parked. We were more than happy to move the car however there is no need for hostility, its only a car & it can be moved......Calm down dear!! The Loders Arms is in walking distance & a lovely dog friendly pub. Parking is an issue due to narrow lanesBridport was very dissapointing. Lyme Regis was lovely.
