Comfortable well provisioned cottage. Steep narrow stairs tricky especially at the top due to sharp turn and low ceiling. A warning notice ought to be displayed. Very nice area with several places worth a visit e.g. Lyme Regis, West Bay, Portland, and Swanage. Sherborne Abbey also worth a look.Very narrow lanes to reach the cottage. Unfortunately the week we were there two of the shorter lanes were closed presumably for repair work so we were obliged to use a much longer and very narrow lane to access property

An old cottage with character i loved it so did my dog. The garden is lovely I should imagine its even better in the summer . Peaceful place to stay .A good base to explore weymouth, lulworth cove and corfe castle and other places .This is my second stay here , the only thing I would say is maybe a three seater ?

The negative reviews for this property really are not justified (or things have been improved dramatically). If you are looking for a 300 year old cottage full of character, sat within its own garden and away from the tourist areas, then I recommend it. We found it clean and the self check in and check out could not have been easier. Overall, for its competitive price, we think it deserves 5 stars and recommend this pretty little cottage.
