Guests say

The Stables in Bridport offers a peaceful stay with beautiful views, well-equipped facilities, and comfortable beds. Guests appreciate the thoughtful welcome hamper, though some mention the property could benefit from a touch of maintenance. Its proximity to the Jurassic Coast and local towns makes it an ideal base for exploring the area.

Most guests found the property clean and well-maintained, though a few noted areas where cleanliness could be improved, such as dust and cobwebs. The majority of comments, however, reflect a satisfactory level of cleanliness.

The location is highly praised for its peacefulness and beautiful views, with easy access to nearby towns and beaches. The rough access lane was a concern for some, but the overall sentiment about the location is very positive.

Guests found the beds very comfortable and the property cosy, with sufficient lighting and space. Some guests mentioned low ceilings and the need to mind one's head, which could affect the comfort for taller individuals.

The property is well-equipped with kitchen items and offers a generous welcome basket. However, some guests noted maintenance issues such as a loose stair bannister and difficulty with windows, suggesting room for improvement.

The welcome hamper was frequently mentioned and appreciated, indicating a high level of thoughtfulness from the hosts. It should be noted that such gifts, while delightful, are a courtesy and not guaranteed.
