Standing in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, with the lovely Dorset Hills rising steeply around, this unique collection of properties is set within the grounds of the owner’s working farm on the edge of the picturesque and tranquil village of West Milton. Individually designed and furnished for comfort, each cottage offers delightful surroundings in which to enjoy a relaxing holiday. Walkers can enjoy discovering a very varied landscape, from high chalk hills, through the winding lanes of sleepy valleys to the dramatic cliffs of Golden Cap (National Trust). The nearest beach is at West Bay, just 4 miles away, where rowing boats can be hired and fishing trips arranged. Along the coast is Lyme Regis, whose sheltered harbour famously featured as a setting for the film ’The French Lieutenant’s Woman’. The historic market town of Dorchester is 15 miles. Weymouth, 14 miles, offers everything from water sports to night clubs. Shops, pubs and restaurants within 3 miles.. Both properties: Panel heaters, electricity and bed linen included. Travel cot and highchair. Laundry room with coin-operated washing machine and tumble dryer (Shared). Garden furniture. Barbecue. Parking. No smoking.

Absolute perfection for a quiet getaway!From the stunning countryside views to the spotlessly clean interior, this cottage had everything we needed for a brilliant week away.The highlight of our stay had to be the local wildlife. It was so relaxing sitting in the garden with a cup of tea, watching the cows grazing in the neighboring field. In the early evenings, we spotted deer walking along the hillside—including a stunning, completely white deer with her fawn, which my daughter managed to capture in some fantastic photos! We even spotted a fox popping out in the adjacent field one evening.The owner went above and beyond right from the start. When our sat nav took a wrong turn on arrival, she immediately guided us over the phone and came outside to meet us as we pulled up. While the bed was slightly firm for our personal preference, we still slept soundly every night.Bridport is just a quick drive away; don't let the narrow country lanes put you off, as we had no issues navigating them all week. As a quick heads-up, there’s no Wi-Fi provided, but our portable router picked up a great signal. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful, nature-filled break!
