Woodpecker Cottage receives high praise for its peaceful rural setting, comfort, and excellent facilities. Guests consistently mention the cottage’s cleanliness, well-equipped kitchen, and cosy atmosphere. The location is ideal for exploring the Jurassic Coast and nearby towns, with ample parking and dog-friendly features. Thoughtful touches, such as welcome baskets and local information, are appreciated, though not guaranteed. Minor issues, such as a self-flushing toilet and limited public transport, are noted but do not detract from the overwhelmingly positive experience. Overall, guests highly recommend Woodpecker Cottage for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

Multiple reviews highlight the cottage as spotlessly clean and well-maintained, with no significant complaints about cleanliness.

The rural, peaceful location is frequently praised for its proximity to the coast and local attractions. A minor drawback is the limited bus service and occasional pub closure.

Guests consistently describe the cottage as cosy, warm, and comfortable, with high-quality furnishings and beds. Only one review mentions a disturbance from a self-flushing toilet.

The cottage is described as well-equipped, with excellent kitchen and bathroom facilities, ample parking, and dog-friendly amenities. One minor mention of missing chopping and bread boards.

Guests appreciate thoughtful touches such as welcome baskets, milk, and dog treats, though it should be noted these are not guaranteed for every stay.

Very Peaceful, Beautiful country location but not very far from amenities. Lots of things to see and do within a few miles. Pub walkable distance, nice people, good food. Bridport has everything else you might need. Easy to park in town centre there.
