This time was slightly different. The house was outstanding but we had trouble with the key safe. It took ages to open and then would not close properly. We used the contact phone number but it was for an office and there was a queue. We had finally gained entry but what if we hadn't? The office was about to close (Friday afternoon) and we would have had to find other accommodation for the weekend. There should be an emergency number. We did contact the office twice during the week but no-one seemed too concerned even though the fault needed to be fixed before the next rental. The house was brilliant but the backup certainly was not.

Ideally located in the centre of Dorchester and very close to main shopping areas and sights. Also well placed to visit the main sights of Dorset. Would definitely want to return as a huge house over three floors with some well presented rooms. Only points for improvement would be to replace some of the pillows in the rooms, as very flat, and there were some areas that needed dusting.

The owner has seriously thought about what you would need and want for a comfortable stay, and provided it all! The spacious kitchen has plenty of dishware and cookware, the large bathroom has plenty of soft towels, and there is even a pretty patio to enjoy if the weather is fine. A larger dining table would be nice, but that is the only change to suggest. We will definitely be back!
