Set beneath the Dorset Downs there are many scenic walking and cycling routes that run directly from the property, taking in the breath-taking views on offer in this picturesque area. Ideally placed for touring Dorset and Somerset there are a selection of nearby towns to explore, such as Sherborne with its weekly market, Bridport, with its popular vintage shops and Yeovil, ideal for an afternoon spent browsing. The beautiful beaches at Lyme Regis and Charmouth are also accessible by car from here.

A paved path leads you into the property from the lane, where you are met by a welcoming entrance hall leading into the lounge, which has an open fire, TV and DVD, making it the perfect spot for relaxing after a country walk. Moving on from here is the open-plan kitchen/diner, which has a wood burner. Extending into a beautiful orchard, this rustic setting is further enhanced by a shepherd’s hut with a wood burner and a double bunk bed ideal for an afternoon nap. Making it the perfect spot to cosy up when the cool evening air draws in. Stepping stones lead you through the lawn from the front door to a layby across the lane, big enough for 2 cars to park.
