Located just a five minute walk away from the popular village pub, and surrounded by walking trails. This delightful barn conversion with light-filled, open plan space, is perfect for couples or a family to enjoy a special break in the pretty village of Ansty.
Hollybank Barn sits in the beautiful and popular village of Ansty, which is ideally situated for exploring the delights of Bulbarrow Hill, and the gorgeous countryside all around. The Fox Inn & village shop are just a five minute walk away, & this special holiday gem is surrounded by miles of fantastic walking trails making it the ideal place for those looking to enjoy the rural life.
On the ground floor, the attractive accommodation includes an open-plan sitting room with television, and a dining area and kitchen sit on a raised level above, with a contemporary glass balustrade. There is a useful utility and boot room next to the kitchen complete with washing machine. Just off the sitting area you will find a twin bedroom which can be converted to a double upon request, and glass doors lead to a rear patio terrace. The ground floor also has a family bathroom. On the first floor a comfortable double bedroom with en-suite shower room can be found, and a mezzanine overlooks the stylish day space. At the front of the barn a seating area with garden furniture can be found, and this is the perfect spot to sit and enjoy an alfresco breakfast or lunch.
The layout of the accommodation is interesting and unique, and offers guests an opportunity to enjoy sociable living, and spending time together in this stunning part of mid-Dorset. There are numerous quaint villages within easy reach including Melcombe Bingham and Milton Abbas, and the towns of Blandford and Dorchester are just a pleasant drive away. Hollybank Cottage is perfectly situated for days out to the beaches of Lulworth Cove, Weymouth and Ringstead, and the wider Jurassic Coast is ideal for fun and adventures.
