Around a 20 minute walk along the famous South West Coast Path leads you to Osmington Mills, the beautiful coastal hamlet, known for its colourful history of smugglers, who supposedly took refuge in the local Inn (now The Smugglers Inn), which dates back to 13th Century.

Situated next to Craig's Farm Dairy, tea room and farm shop, you will find yourself perfectly placed for buying fresh milk, cheeses and wonderful ice cream.  A short drive away is the bustling seaside town of Weymouth, with a wealth of bars, restaurants, shops and activities, as well as the three mile stretch of idyllic sandy beach, hosting a range of traditional seaside entertainment during the summer months and great for wintry strolls out of peak season.

We would also recommend a trip East to the unique Lulworth Cove during your stay; spend the day on the sheltered shingle beach, or enjoy a meal at one of the local pubs or restaurants, while taking in the stunning scenery. A walk from Lulworth Cove over to Durdle Door offers the perfect opportunity to admire the striking views over the coastline and unusual geological formations.
