Set in an elevated position just off the main road leading to the village itself, the cottage has fantastic sweeping valley views towards the sea. The Sunray pub in Osmington offers a family atmosphere with large beer garden and childrens play area. Nearby Osmington Mills, an old smugglers haunt is an ideal place to begin a walk along the Dorset Coastal Path. A short drive takes you into Weymouth past the chalk etching of King George III who enjoyed the reputed healing qualities of the bathing waters! The fine sandy beach, a host of family attractions and an extensive choice of harbourside restaurants makes Weymouth a perfect place to visit day or evening. If you prefer a quieter area to sunbathe and swim Ringstead Bay and Lulworth Cove are also a very short drive away.
