The harbour provides fantastic views towards the beach and sea, over to East Cliff and the World Heritage Jurassic Coastline, and access to walks along the south west coastal path. With its variety of shops, local theatre/cinema and twice weekly market. You will find the market town of Bridport is only a short drive, bus trip or river walk away. Weymouth, Dorchester and Lyme Regis are a pleasant scenic half an hour drive away or, for relaxation, catch the Jurassic Coastline hop-on/off bus during the summer season.

Only 1.5 miles away is the vibrant market town of Bridport, featured in the TV series, River Cottage. The area holds plenty of attractions to suit the whole family! Just a short drive takes you to the picturesque seaside resort of Lyme Regis, the lovely sub-tropical gardens and swannery at Abbotsbury, or the golden sands of Weymouth. This wonderful location makes an ideal base for a great family holiday.
