Weymouth is a great place to visit any time of the year because of the huge range of activities and attractions available. The beautiful, golden sand beaches are home to first-rate watersports infrastructure, while frequent fishing expeditions depart from the harbor's charming, teeming atmosphere. Portland Harbour and the mountainous "Isle" of Portland are only a short drive away, connected to Weymouth by the breathtaking Chesil Beach. Just 7 miles away is Dorchester, the inspiration for Thomas Hardy's "Casterbridge," or you may take a drive along the coast and stop by Abbotsbury Swannery and Subtropical Gardens. To see the beautiful Dorset Heritage Coastline, you might just just go to West Bay.

Having said that it was relatively quiet. We were left two dishwasher tablets but no dishwasher!

Internet access is a problem and access to the bin area was difficult without the code for the gate. Great location, so close to the beach and harbour, that we did not need to use the car all week.

Only thing missing was a teapot which we would have appreciated. Own parking was a bonus and we didnât use the car while there. The property is well situated, only a few minutes walk to the harbour and easy for coastal walks. Disposal of rubbish and recycling isnât clear. The gated area with the bins wasnât accessible as it needed a key code different to entry keys. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be back.
