Guests say

Cartshed Cottage in Weymouth is a well-maintained, peaceful property with secure areas for pets and easy parking. Guests appreciate the welcoming touches and find the cottage well-stocked. The surrounding views are praised, though some guests note cleaning could be improved and there were issues with communication and maintenance.

The property generally receives positive remarks for cleanliness, with well-hoovered and tidy spaces. However, some guests noted areas that were missed during cleaning, such as sticky tables and a dusty environment, which suggests room for improvement.

The location is appreciated for its peacefulness and proximity to Weymouth and other attractions. Guests enjoyed the expansive views and quiet setting, although some were disappointed by the need to drive to walking areas, indicating that while good, the location could be more convenient for walkers.

Guests found the beds comfortable and the linen of nice quality, contributing to a cosy stay. However, some guests mentioned that the bed linen needed pressing and the absence of a log burner and television in the lounge affected the overall comfort.

While the property is equipped with essentials and guests found it to be roomy, there were issues with facilities such as a non-working water heater and a missing hairdryer. Due to mixed feedback and some maintenance issues, a precise score cannot be provided.

The welcome pack and Christmas decorations were well-received, indicating thoughtfulness from the host. However, it should be noted that such personal touches may vary and are not guaranteed with every stay.

Clean, warm, gorgeous. Huge rooms and beautiful towels etc. Host was superb and nothing too much trouble. He provided really good hoover and cleaning products which made tidying up after dogs very easy. Lovely Christmas decorations and real tree, gorgeous touch. Dog walks from door. Close to huge Aldi and stunning hill to walks. Perfect stay for 7 adults. Thank you

Disappointed there was no log burner due to chimney issues and no television in the lounge, which made television in the kitchen area very cramped for four people. Apart from the above we had a lovely stay in this very roomy cottage. Owner very pleasant.

Housework needed improvement very dusty everywhere, bed linen clean but needed pressing to make more comfortable. We were expecting to be able to walk dog nearby, disappointed we had to drive to find walking areas.
