Stay in Harbour Watch Apartment, a wonderful holiday apartment, perfect for couples wanting to explore all this lovely area has to offer.

Brewers Quay is the old Victorian brewery situated at the heart of the harbour, in Weymouth, Dorset. Much of the grade II listed complex and surrounding brewery buildings date from the late 1800 early 1900’s and many have stones inlaid commemorating their construction year. This area is now a popular destination with many restaurants, café and bars, creating a vibrant culture, where you can relax with a drink and watch the world go by. Tucked away down the harbourside streets, you will find original Tudor harbour buildings, estimated to have been built in 1600 and well worth a visit, with a very interesting history to share. You will also find the Weymouth Museum, with some incredible exhibitions, and the harbour is also home to the lifting bridge, where you can watch the luxury yachts head out to sea, and then walk over the bridge to the town's winding streets of boutique shops and the seafront esplanade and beach. There is more to this seaside town than meets the eye; Brewers Quay is a much-loved holiday destination in Weymouth!

No warning in the literature about the step as you walk in, especially in the dark, as my wife fell up it. The directions in the instructions are not easy to follow but in the apartments pack it gives different directions which are easier to follow.

And next to the harbour to sit and watch the world go by. However, the apartment should be listed accommodates 3 as there certainly isn’t enough room in either bedroom for 4 people. The angle of the wardrobe in the double room is so close to the bed you cannot walk past it without bumping into it. Ventilation is poor as the window is set deep into the ledge so you have to bend your upper body to reach the handle. We slept in the twin room, not bad apart from the mould spots on the nets. There were cobwebs hanging from the ceiling in the kitchen/living area. The kitchen is totally devoid of basic utensils and not very clean either. The shower cubicle is so small you cannot turn round once you are in there, even children would have difficulty using it. Totally inadequate and not fit for purpose. We were so disappointed as we have always booked our holidays through Dream Cottages and their properties, apart from this one, have always been first class
