It's centrally located for exploring local towns and offers good walks, with amenities and dining options within easy reach. Guests appreciate the dog-friendly environment and the thoughtful touches that make for a comfortable stay, despite some concerns over maintenance and cleanliness.
Most guests found the cottage clean and welcoming, with one report of unclean kitchenware and a used bath mat, which suggests occasional lapses in cleanliness standards.
The cottage is praised for its central location, convenient for visiting nearby villages and attractions, and offering good local walks, making it an ideal base for exploring the Cotswolds.
Guests describe the cottage as warm, comfortable, and cosy, with a well-catered environment for dogs. However, some guests noted issues with steep stairs and parking for larger vehicles.
The cottage is generally seen as well-equipped, especially the kitchen, but there are mentions of a damp smell when air fresheners are unplugged and a slow-draining bathtub, indicating some maintenance issues.
While guests have expressed appreciation for the cottage's amenities and the provision of items for a comfortable stay, there are no specific mentions of gifts, so it is not possible to assess the thoughtfulness in this regard.

We stayed a week and working remotely from the house which worked very well. Great to be in the old part of town with two nice pubs nearby. Lovely to have the summer house part of the garden one the warm days.
