About this property

Set amid the beauty of the Cotswolds National Landscape, this delightful Grade II-listed property is ideal for couples, families or friends looking for a peaceful rural holiday. The market town of Winchcombe (2.5 miles) is known as a centre for walkers, where you can access the Gateway Town walking and cycling route. Surrounded by rolling hills and woodland, there is access to footpaths and bridleways leading from the doorstep. You can wander across to Prescott Hill Climb course, 1.5 miles away.

Step inside this two-storey converted barn, and you will find timeless original features, including exposed stone walls and all the contemporary creature comforts for a memorable stay. The front door opens into a downstairs open-plan lounge/kitchen/dining area with plenty of country styling, wooden doors, and exposed beams. The kitchen has all the necessary equipment to cook up a storm. The cosy lounge area with a two-seater sofa, two armchairs, and a warming wood burner for those cooler evenings is the perfect place to relax and socialise. To the left of this area, through a sliding door, is a double bedroom with an en-suite shower room and patio doors. Head upstairs from the living area to the first floor, which has a king-size bedroom with access to an external stairwell. There is a shower room on this level. There is space to unwind together outside in a beautifully quirky, enclosed courtyard garden with stunning views, a large dining table and sun loungers.

Whether you seek outdoor adventures or something more relaxing, plenty of nearby attractions will suit your taste. Sudeley Castle is 4.5 miles away and has ten stunning gardens covering some 15 acres to explore within a 1,200-acre estate. Cheltenham (8 miles) is a gorgeous Regency town with Michelin-star restaurants and a host of independent shops to enjoy. Walkers are spoiled for choice and the trails at Cleve Hill (6.5 miles) for breathtaking views and Devil''s Chimney (11.5 miles) are must-visits.
