Leave muddy footwear in the porch as you move into the lounge, finding comfy seating and a TV/DVD for your relaxing nights in. The kitchen/diner is just next door, well-equipped for prepping and serving three meals a day. Along the hallway, two bedrooms share a handy shower room. Right on your doorstep, the village of Berry Hill boasts a local pub (0.5 miles), the ideal final stop-off after long walks in the Forest of Dean. Discover the Forest of Dean Sculpture Trail, the Cycle Centre and the scenic Cannop Ponds all 4 miles out of town, a great place to start. Moving towards the Welsh border, keen hikers among you will be keen to embrace the long-stretching Offa’s Dyke Path, a route that begins on the outskirts of Chepstow, on the edge of the River Severn (14.5 miles) and snakes all the way up along the border through fabulous Wye Valley scenery.
