The cottage was beautifully presented, with lots of little details and touches. I received a lovely welcome pack. It was really comfortable, with plenty of space and storage to put my things, especially the kitchen which was spacious, well equipped and with loads of cupboard space and a full size freezer. The surroundings were beautiful, with the forest right out the front door, absolutely beautiful in November with the golds and reds of the trees. I did find it a bit difficult to find, arriving in the dark and the wind and rain, google gives the wrong pin when you put the addres in, the house is on the main road, but I'm sure they will change the instructions in response to this review. Heidi came out and waved at me from the main road to help me which was very kind.

A lovely comfortable and well equipped cottage situated in the Forest of Dean. Good walks from the cottage into the forest. Well located for the attractions of the forest and the Wye Valley and near to Coleford for amenities and good cafes.

We had a lovely few days at Oaktree Lodge. Cottage was clean and comfortable. Suited more to walkers/ramblers, as we were in the Forest of Dean, but we went out and about every day, even though weather wasnt great. Food in local restaurants was good and filling.
