The Old Granary (ref UK12135) is a renovated farm building that has gone under major work to make it a well thought out property, perfect for families and groups. The entrance way still has the original stone work, which gives the property character. On the ground floor you have three double bedrooms which are all very light and airy. The living/dining room and modern kitchen are situated on the first floor, and on the second floor there is a great space that has been designed perfectly for a children’s play area, with games, bean bags, a TV and Playstation 2.

You enter the property through a small porch and are instantly met by a large spacious kitchen area which is modern and fully equipped. The living area has a lovely wood burner which gives a glowing warmth to the property in the winter months. Both bedrooms are fitted with TV’s and offer a high level of comfort, and there is also a wet room giving easier access to facilities. The property is nestled in the village of Hewelsfield and there is plenty to see and do in the surrounding area. This border territory is marked by stunning scenery and has brooding castles at Chepstow and Raglan. Explore the market towns of Abergavenny and Monmouth, or enjoy excellent walking in the Forest of Dean and along the riverbank. Fishing, horse riding, cycling and canoeing are readily available. The area is wonderful for sightseeing and touring, and easily reached year round. Chepstow’s racecourse and excellent golf courses are also nearby. Shop 1½ miles, pub 2 miles and restaurant 2¾ miles.
