Wonderful walks with stunning scenery await you within the forest and the Wye Valley, which is very popular also for mountain biking. There are numerous fun places to visit with attractions such as Go Ape, Puzzlewood, Dean Forest Steam Railway, Dean Heritage Centre, Clearwell Caves and the Sculpture Trail. The cathedral city of Gloucester, Monmouth, Chepstow and the pretty market town of Ross-on-Wye are all within a short drive. Excellent 4 night break. Owner met myself as I arrived and showed me around. Perfect location, very comfortable accommodation and a hot tub as a great extra. I would definitely stay again and recommend to family and friends

Had a wonderful relaxing weekend at the Stables, cosy little place with underfloor heating. Very comfy bed had everything we needed . made good use of the hot tub too . Colin was a fabulous host . Will definitely be back !

The host was super helpful with my stay even brought a spare travel cot when I thought it was damaged overall great experience would really recommend to others
