The Granary is a delightful Grade II listed Cotswold cottage which forms part of an original stone barn. Enjoying a very rural location which offers blissful seclusion for those looking to get away from it all, with Llama experiences and homemade cream teas also available to book.
Situated at the end of a private half mile road, The Granary is a spacious and comfortable bolthole for two. The accommodation comprises a large kitchen on the ground floor; an adjacent light and airy dining area with french doors to the garden; a first floor sunny sitting room as well as characterful and light master suite. This charming property enjoys wonderful views across farmland and privately owned woodland. The attractive enclosed garden is the ideal spot to enjoy relaxing meals al fresco.
As well as the magnificent pastoral landscape surrounding The Granary, guests can also enjoy the privately owned lake which is well stocked with Tench, Bream, Rudd, Perch and even Bleak. Wildlife enthusiasts will appreciate the surrounding, varied nature. You can even enjoy a delicious home made cream tea in the summer house overlooking the lake.
Located at the edge of the Forest of Dean, guests have a choice of walking routes from the doorstep. The Granary is set within a working farm where the livestock consists of cows, llamas and dogs and llama walks can be organised directly with the owners. This stunning llama farm is a haven of calm and tranquillity. Ideally located with the Malvern hills in the distance, and approximately nine acres of beautiful woodland as part of the 32 acre site. There is also a small lake that is home to many wild birds, waterfowl, and fish.
Ground Floor:
The large and spacious, fully equipped kitchen leads on to a generous dining area with french doors to the garden and paved terrace. The kitchen includes an electric Aga, microwave, conventional electric hob and oven, washing machine, dishwasher, and fridge (no freezer).
First Floor:
Sitting room
With comfortable sofas, television with freeview, digital radio, electric woodburner style stove and large picture window with views across the fields and woodland.
Master bedroom
Five stairs up from the sitting room takes you to the large bedroom with a king-size bed.
En-suite bathroom
With claw foot bath and separate walk-in shower, wash basin and WC.
Outside:
Delightful cottage gardens and a sunny terrace with garden furniture provide the perfect backdrop for al fresco dining and entertaining.
The private enclosed gardens extend to a quarter of an acre.
Parking for two cars.

The Granary adjoins the owner’s home.
Up to two well behaved dogs welcome (small additional charge). Guests with dogs must take care near livestock and dogs should be kept on a lead throughout the grounds. Dishes are provided for your dog. Please keep dogs to the ground floor only.
