Guests consistently mention the warm welcome and helpfulness of the host, John, as well as the comfort and cleanliness of the accommodation. The property is ideal for those seeking tranquillity and easy access to local attractions. While WiFi can be unreliable and there was an isolated maintenance issue, the overall experience is overwhelmingly positive, especially for dog owners and those looking to unwind.

Multiple reviews highlight the property as very clean and well-maintained, with no negative comments regarding cleanliness.

Guests appreciate the quiet, secluded location with beautiful views and easy access to local towns and attractions. The only minor drawback mentioned is the narrow access road.

The Lodge is described as cosy, comfortable, and well-furnished, with several guests noting restful stays. One review mentions compactness, but this is not seen as a major issue.

Facilities are generally praised, especially for dog owners, with secure outdoor areas and a well-equipped interior. However, some guests report sporadic WiFi and one mentions a shower issue.

Guests frequently mention thoughtful touches such as welcome packs with milk, eggs, juice, and even chocolate bars. Please note that these gifts are not guaranteed for every stay.

Very nice, well equipped with everything you could need and I'm sure if you needed something John the owner would do his best for you. Eggs, milk and juice, he even put ice in the freezer and chocolate bars I the fridge. The place was perfect and very comfy and the paddock made it with two dogs. Within driving distance of so many places. The only place I have been to the I will return to.
