With an abundance of walks from your doorstep and the towns of Stroud, Cirencester and Cheltenham just a short drive away, this is an ideal base for exploring all the Cotswolds has to offer.
Maplewood Barn sits on a quiet lane in the picturesque village of Bisley. Steeped in history, this beautiful 200 year old barn was once part of a group of buildings owned by The Bear Inn, which stands close by. Today, Maplewood Barn is a fabulous base for couples or families to discover all the Cotswolds has to offer. Lovingly restored by the owner, floor to ceiling windows with french doors allow light to flood the ground floor, whilst characterful beams upstairs seamlessly blend with modern furnishings.
Outside is a pretty cottage style garden with outdoor seating, perfect for a morning coffee or alfresco dining on a summer's evening.

Very tasteful arranged cottage in a quiet and lovely village. Colours and furniture with a high standard. All you need for a pleasant stay is provided, even milk, chocolates, cookies, coffee and a bottle of bubbles. The Cotswolds are so beautiful. We made several walks, thanks to the excellent tips the owner left in the cottage.

Lovely place to stay with the family. Everything we needed and more loved sitting out on an evening in the great weather glass of wine and just relaxing. The two local pubs were fab and really family friendly. Would happily return.
