The O'Brien Party- York
What a lovely bungalow - we had a great stay- catching up on a family get together. Winchcombe is a lovely town with plenty of coffee shops & a very interesting museum. Batsford Arboretum is well recommended with the beautiful autumn colours. Sunday lunch at the Royal Oak in Gretton was a real treat. Plenty of walking trails for those who want them & the easiest way to walk into Wichcombe was to follow the Cotswold way. Thanks again.
The Caminer Party- Windsor
What a wonderful cottage. Beautiful and every detail thought of. Couldn't be better!! The ten minutes short cut into Winchcombe across the path to the right of the bend (not across the field but at right angle) means you can get to The Old Bakery and back, with the morning bakery AND get some exercise in a flash. Great lunch and 'sharing board' as well. The magnificent church is worth a visit too. Thanks again.
