The village has a manor house, manor hall and is home to a Grade I listed church dating back to the 15th century. Lympsham lies adjacent to East Brent and Brent Knoll and close to the River Axe, once used as a port as indicated by the name of the pub, The Hobbs Boat Inn. There are a wide variety of wonderful places to visit around Lympsham, close by there is the popular seaside resort of Weston-super-Mare, as well as Brean with its Animal Farm Adventure Park and Leisure Park. Cheddar and Cheddar Gorge are only 10 miles away, boasting beautiful views and lots of adventure to uncover. Further afield is the stunning city of Wells, where you can visit the Cathedral, The Bishop’s Palace and gardens, or shop at its twice weekly market. The historical town of Glastonbury also isn't too far, presenting beautiful architecture and being home to one of the biggest music festivals in the world, it's a vibrant area full of fun. Bath, Somerset’s largest city is only 33 miles away and with its Abbey, Roman Baths, Regency architecture, restaurants and shopping it is well worth a visit.
