Poppy Cottage is a cosy two bedroom cottage which caters for up to four people, with an open plan living area, a walk-in shower and a wood burner. There’s a ground floor bedroom with a super kingsize bed which can be single beds on request, with another kingsize bedroom upstairs with an en-suite shower room. Children are welcome at Poppy Cottage and a travel cot and highchair can be provided on request.
Within easy reach of Cheddar Gorge and Caves, Wookey Hole, Wells with its magnificent cathedral, the renowned Clarks Village shopping outlet at Street and National Trust properties at Clevedon Court, Tyntesfield and Montacute House. Splendid walks and cycle trails, and nearby Chew Valley Lakes is a modern reservoir and a mecca for birdwatchers and fishermen. Further afield are Exmoor National Park, the re-developed docklands and shopping of Bristol, and the memorable regency architecture of Bath. Beach 5 miles. Shop 3 miles, pub 1½ miles, restaurant 5½ miles.

What a beautiful cottage, well looked after and well laid out, kitchen has everything you need, beds very comfortable, (mind your head in the upper bedroom).The hot tub fantastic.The only downside was settee and chair in the lounge area both had seen better days.Would definitely recommend it to anyone who would like a relaxing break in a wonderful cottage.

Absolutely perfect for our week-long holiday. Friendly hosts who are nearby should you need them, rural (but within easy reach of motorway, shops, beach etc), loads of off-road parking, comfortable beds, log burner with a supply of logs, fully equipped kitchen with huge fridge freezer, 3 large TVs, clock radios in both bedrooms, WiFi, patio with furniture and parasol, lovely hot tub and just 5 minutes from the worlds largest helicopter museum! Fully recommend 👍
