Examples - very very dusty in places (huge clumps of dust under master bed) and thick grease on the splash back behind the hob 3) we were not able to close off our garden area for the children/dog

We were really pleased with the actual chalet itself - had everything we needed and the space was great inside and out. We did have a few hiccups at the start but these were pretty swiftly rectified by the owner and his team who were keen to make sure everything was right. Sykes themselves were not actually the most helpful in this situation. Great position for exploring Somerset, which definitely has it's own pace. My only suggestion for the property is a bit more crockery/cutlery/glasses would be helpful.

Itâs well laid out and in the main works well, with excellent quality equipment in the kitchen, a lovely dining area, and spacious living room area. We however were a party of 2, one being 90 with considerable mobility difficulties, we chose Belvedere solely on the basis of having a ground floor bedroom with walk in shower in the en-suite. It would have been really valuable to have some handrails in the walk in bathroom, and there are no seats suitable for an elderly person to sit in in the living area, they are far too low down, so we had to bring one of the outside chairs in just for her to sit down inside. It would also be great to know where the nearest bottle bank/ recycling bins are, itâs appalling to be throwing recycling in the main bin nowadays, and we would happily have driven past any recycling points to dispose of the recyclable rubbish.
